This service contract is not provided or backed by the manufacturer of the vehicle. The manufacturer of the vehicle is not responsible for claims, or repairs, under this service contract. Provided to the vehicle purchaser at no additional cost. It is a comprehensive agreement detailing coverage, exclusions, claim procedures, maintenance requirements, and legal provisions.

  • Duration: Begins on the Vehicle Purchase Date and expires when the Vehicle is sold, traded, or its ownership is otherwise transferred.
  • Limits of Liability: The total benefits paid will not exceed the lesser of $6,000 or the average retail value of the vehicle (as per JD Power guide) at the time of failure.

 

Covered Components & Benefits:

  • Engine (GASOLINE & DIESEL ENGINES ONLY):
    Includes the Engine block, Cylinder Head(s), all Internal Lubricated Parts within the Engine Block and Cylinder Heads, Intake Manifold, Intake and Exhaust Valves, Timing Gears and Gaskets, Timing Chain/belt and cover, flywheel, valve covers, Oil pan, Oil pump, Engine Mounts, Harmonic Balancer, Thermostat, Thermostatically Controlled Air Intake, Vacuum Pump, Tensioners/Guides, and Exhaust Manifold(s).

  • Seals and Gaskets:
    Covered only if required in conjunction with the repair or replacement of a Covered Part.

  • Coverage up to $6,000 or vehicle's average retail value at time of failure

Breakdown Benefit:

Pays or reimburses for reasonable costs to repair or replace covered components, less the deductible.

Towing Benefit:
Up to $100.00 per occurrence for receipted towing expenses from a commercial service if the vehicle is disabled due to a covered Breakdown. No deductible applies to towing.

Deductible:
$100 per repair visit for covered Breakdowns.

What is NOT Covered (Exclusions):

Normal Maintenance: Services and parts listed in the owner's manual (e.g., alignments, tune-ups, spark plugs, hoses, belts, brake parts, filters/fluids unless related to a covered Breakdown).
External Forces/Events: Damage from collision, road hazard, fire, theft, vandalism, natural disasters, rust/corrosion, environmental damage, and contamination of fluids.
Misuse & Neglect: Breakdowns caused by abuse, negligence, contaminants, failure to maintain proper fluid levels, lack of manufacturer-required maintenance, improper prior repairs, or failure to prevent further damage after a Breakdown.
Non-Breakdowns: Repairs for parts not failed or whose wear hasn't exceeded manufacturer tolerances. Diagnostic or storage charges for non-covered repairs.
Damage from Non-Covered Parts: Damage to covered parts caused by non-covered parts.
Unauthorized Modifications: Failures caused by parts or modifications not authorized by the vehicle manufacturer (e.g., lift kits, oversized tires, engine/transmission modifications).
Odometer Tampering: If the odometer is inoperable, altered, or actual mileage cannot be determined.
Consequential Damages: Liability for property damage, injury/death, loss of use, time, profit, inconvenience, or other incidental/consequential damages (though some states may not allow this limitation).
Other Manufacturer Coverage: Breakdowns covered by residual warranties, or manufacturer's warranty, service contract, policy, or manufacturer recall/settlement.
