And the Impreza has a lower center of gravity with its boxer engine that features a flat cylinder configuration, offering you enhanced handling stability. There is no boxer engine offered for the Corolla.

The Impreza can go further distances without stopping at the gas pump than the Corolla with a fuel capacity of 14.5 gallons, which is 1.3 gallons more than the Corolla's 13.2 gallons.

The independent suspensions also allow the wheels to follow the road at the best angle for gripping the pavement, without compromising ride comfort. The Corolla's suspension system is a rear torsion beam axle with a semi-independent rear suspension.
